I look forward to helping you achieve this goal here on Kauai. I work passionately with the Bnai Mitzvah, the family, and the Jewish educators helping prepare for this event. The B’nai Mitzvah will lead the service as well as read from the Torah as together we proclaim the new adult’s role in continuing this tradition of Jews everywhere.

Becoming a Bar Mitzvah marks a magical coming of age. This ceremony for Jewish boys and girls is typically done when they attain the age of 13, although it can in fact be done at any age. This occasion marks becoming a Jewish adult, which implies the responsibility for their own actions and their ability to decide how they would like to participate in Judaism.

I can accommodate any special requirements, and also welcome single-parent, interfaith and LQBTQ families.

My services in preparing a bespoke ceremony include working closely with the family to create this sacred event.

• Work with your family to develop a ceremony uniquely tailored to your wishes and requirements.

• Spend time together to review and understand the preparation conducted.

• Offer online or in-person rehearsals.

• Conduct the in-person service on Kauai or another Hawaiian island.

Please note that we do not offer Bnai Mitzvah at the beach to protect our Torah, and we are unable to accommodate visitors’ Bnai Mitzvah.
