A Kauai interfaith Jewish wedding that aligns two faiths in one marriage is inspiring and a ceremony I find rewarding to conduct. It is a great way to have two traditions complement one another as you share your faiths within your upcoming marriage and lives.

My goal is to help each couple decide exactly what they would like to express and how their wedding commitments will unfold. I want couples to have a ceremony as unique as each person and their combined faiths.

Options for Kauai Jewish interfaith weddings.

Together, working with you as your only officiant, we can create a single service that combines rituals from more than one faith. Alternatively, it can be a largely Jewish ceremony that brings in elements of another faith. A Kauai Jewish wedding ceremony that combines different religious practices, when done thoughtfully, will provide the perfect means for an interfaith couple to commit to each other and begin married life.

I ask that the Jewish wedding not be token, and that the couple plans to undertake a commitment to some form of Jewish life together.

Why Kauai?

Kauai is an ideal Jewish destination wedding location that offers unique venues, including some of the world’s most spectacular beaches. For many couples, a marriage in a neutral setting such as Kauai can be preferable to an interfaith wedding within a religious venue.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you plan the Kauai interfaith wedding of your dreams.

What makes Jewish interfaith weddings unique.

Intermarriage became common just over half a century ago. Since then, the number of Jews who have married to non-Jews has grown dramatically. According to one recent study, perhaps half of all Jews who marry have non-Jewish partners. That is among the non-orthodox.

While a decision to be married interfaith may be easy, the actual wedding ceremony, acknowledgment of family religious traditions, inter-family relationships, children’s religious upbringing and more, take much consideration.

Interfaith couples are welcome to use a Ketunah (Jewish marriage agreement). In addition, they have many choices regarding which components of a Jewish wedding they will also incorporate.
